Purpose of this dataset

This data set is made to visualize what kind of evaluation biases the various games, which are regarded as "important games", are biased. Specifically, the aim is to visualize the following points.

(1) Differences in games that are picked up by language spheres:
Games to be picked up in the English world and the Japanese game history are different. For example, "Zaxxon" is not taken up much in Japan's game history, but it is an important game in English-language game history. On the other hand, important games in Japanese game history such as "Otogiriso" and "Wonderland Dungeon" series are rarely touched in the history of English game history.
We are making it possible to visualize titles that show remarkable differences by these language spheres.
(2) Differences that depend on the type of the game lists:
Various lists such as awards, fan voting, exhibition in museum, books of game history, game research books, etc. are selecting games.
There is bias in how to select each game, and we are trying to visualize this difference.
(3) Differences in evaluation that varies by time:
The evaluation of games have been changed according to the time from it's relased. For example, "TETRIS" developed in 1984 never won the prize at the time of being developed ... but it is one of the most important video game among the history of video games.

At the present time, this data crosses the language sphere, there was a huge amount of cost of the name identification, bias of the source data etc. There are problems of data integration which is not few.

We are doing questionnaires for improving data. Please cooprerate to answer these questionnairs.

このデータセットは、「重要なゲーム」とされる様々なゲームが、どのような評価の偏りをもっているのかを、可視化するために作られています。 具体的には次のような点が可視化されることを目的としています。
